people with straight fine hair its very hard to keep a curl. I usually use Freeze and Shine by Paul Mitchell first i spray the hair a little then take a curl iron to it be careful it will stick it the iron then after spray again it really works.. I just did an updo on this girl with really straight and fine hair and it came out really nice. But it will work

Ok, here's what you do, when you've got the curling iron secured at the end of your hair and are about to roll it up, spray your hair with hair spray, or put some mousse in your hair before you start, then curl your hair, and lightly spray it afterward. You could also use some curl-activating hair products even before you start to style your hair, there's shampoos and things out there to try. Also, remember that your style could go kaputski if it's humid outside, and in most places in the US right now, it is!

the night before you curl it wash it and put in some max hold gel, then when you wake up in the morning either use a curling iron, or rollers[if you use rollers hair spray them while in]

another thing to try is when you go to bed at night put about 10 lil tight buns all around your head and take them out in the morning..it works

I have very straight and thick hair and I used this somewhat new product by VO5 (I hate everything else VO5 has, though) called spray n curl... you spray it on before you curl and it worked wonders for my hair. It also doesn't burn like if you put hairspray on before you curl.
