Or, how long can it be not in the refridgerator before it goes bad?

All chilled foods should be refgerated with in 2 hours of purchase. But on a hot day i would say within 30 mins.

I guess it depends on how hot it is outside---if you are in California and it's like 110 degrees, I would say no longer than 15-20 minutes. If it's just a regular day, like maybe 75 degrees--I would say 1/2 hour.

Depends on the temperature of where you are, the hotter it is, the shorter your milk will be useful.
