Yes, it's called manipulation.

When you say turn gay, I assume the person was initially straight. A number of things in reality could happen to cause such a thing. What could happen is for someone to have such a painful experience with the opposite sex that they feel safer with their own sex and experience a different aspect of their sexually. This person is, however, not gay and could only be described as bi-sexual at best. If however the person was a closet gay or never had a chance till now to express his/her sexuality, then really that person was always gay but his/her feelings were simply hidden.

I wouldn't say turn you gay, but you might find yourself discovering things about your sexuality that you hadn't ever considered, through exchanges with someone.

You could be chatting with the straightest person possible and suddenly think, "hang it, I'm not interested in the opposite sex after all. I'll have to look into this."

On the other hand, some people find it thrilling to bring out this change in someone, be it because they fancy them or for any number of reasons. I imagine it is frowned on by the gay community itself as attracting negative attention.

People who are exploring sexualities other than the biologically practical male-female relationships should be helped to sort themselves out, not be pounced on or lead on for selfish purposes, but then, we're human...

no, it isn't possible unless you are leaning that way. Apparently many bi people enjoy both ways. If somebody is able to talk you into a gay experience more than once, chances are you are gay or Bi. I have thought that women do sometimes enjoy each other without being bi or gay because apparently a woman understands some things about loving another woman that a man never will. [just an opinion]

It is not possible to be 'turned gay'. Being 'gay' isn't (or shouldn't be) a lifestyle choice!
What is possible is for someone to introduce you to a new experience that you enjoy and want to repeat. If this is what has happened to you, then you need to examine your feelings towards this new experience and decide what to do next.
Sexuality is a very complicated issue, and people's likes and dislikes of sexual experiences vary greatly throughout life.

I don't think so. It's possible to be bi-curious though. If you meet someone who you develop a sexual attraction for, that doesn't mean they've turned you gay. It simply means you have a sexual attraction for that person - not for all people of your same sex. Or it could be that they've awakened something that was always within you.

I don't think it's possible for someone to TURN you gay, just to awaken your gay side or your gay curiosity.

Nope. You're born gay. Doesn't mean you're not allowed to enjoy some same sex contact though. Don't get all bogged down in labels. Do what makes you feel good and happy.

I think someone could turn you gay. If they really really like you and want you to themselves, they could try to persuade you. But no one has tried it on me yet lol =]

No. No, no, no no NO! Homosexuality is NOT a choice made consciously. One is born straight or gay, not made straight or gay. If being gay were a choice, so would be being straight. Anybody ask you lately why you chose to be straight? I didn't think so...

Maybe there isn't gay or straight?? Maybe we can all meet someone from the same sex and fancy them? That's my theory anyway

No. Its possible for someone to allow you to see what you've been all along. But turn you that way? Never. You are who you have always been.
