I don't know the answer, but I wish you the best of luck if you are trying. I am so sick of reading them and hearing them say "you are going to hell". To me they are hell!

Depending on the Christian's personality, there are different definitions of what is rude/offensive/insensitive, so there's no one way to "un-convert" all Christians.

Being one myself, I feel that the best way to do so is to present a logical argument in a calm, rational manner. Leave room for us to argue our own points as well, and let us defend our faith. No Christian is totally familiar with the entire Bible and all of its possible nuances, so give us time to find our answers and get back to you; don't press us to answer NOW, because that turns the situation into an emotional matter instead of a logical one. If you give us time to find our answers, we'll be obliged to do the same for you, and if we don't, it just proves that we're not very good Christians.

I would also advise you to read the Bible carefully, because it gives you an understanding of where we're coming from and how we develop our faith. If you do choose to do so, don't take verses out of context just so that you can try to find contradictions, because that just leaves you open to the argument of... well, taking the verse out of context.

Other than reading the Bible and doing other extensive research into its origins and historicity, I don't really have any other advice. I can, however, tell you that oftentimes everything just boils down to differences in who we are, such as someone willing to believe based on faith versus someone needing solid, indisputable evidence before they decide to believe something. Please be willing to accept those differences instead of trying to change who we are and what defines us.

Whatever it is you decide to do, please, DON'T rant at us and/or say point blank that our entire faith is one gigantic lie without anything to back up your words, because that just makes us go on the offensive, and therefore makes us unwilling to hear what you have to say. Even if you do have evidence to back up your claim, please don't shove it in our faces; present it to us calmly, one piece at a time, and make sure that both you and whoever it is you try to convince keep your heads. DO NOT let the conversation turn into a shouting match.

XD I'd wish you good luck, but that would be rather contradictory to my faith, so I'll wish you a good conversation, good luck with any research you choose to do, and hopes that you'll keep your head. x]

When it truly comes down to the point where they can't rationally debate the subject any more (about 30 minutes into the conversation, typically), they WILL respond in anger. It's the last part of their defense. And unfortunately, it's a necessary step.

All you can be is understanding, and try your best not to respond in kind. It's definitely hard to keep from doing so, though.

I don't want to convert you, so back off already. You are rude, offensive and insensitve, and no christian is gonna pay any attention to anything you say. If I'd looked at who the asker was, I wouldn't have even opened this question.

If is extremely hard to do, they will not accept logic or reason and insist on clinging to their silly superstitions. Arguing with a Christian is like playing chess with a pigeon, they knock over all the pieces, crap on the board, then fly home to their flock to declare victory.

The way that a person is truly a Christian is through a strong belief system. It is difficult for someone to change their belief system if they first truly believed what they believe.

If you can't convince them it's a waste of time, try telling them it's the most profitable but least productive business in history. Maybe that'll wake the latent capitalist in them.

You can't. You can put forth your argument and then let them decide for themselves which is correct and then respect their decision

Impossible, you are trying to kill that persons eternity, plus if they lose faith they may do things you would not expect.
