Things you could buy him depend on what he likes. There is little information about him for a good suggestion to be made.
You could get him an xbox game if he owns an xbox.
If he likes sports or a specific player... go on eBay and get him an autographed ball, helmet or jersey.
You could get him a gift certificate to his favorite store.
The possibilities are endless. Just think about what he likes a lot and go from there.

well i really think only yo can answer that since your the one who knows him... get him something that he likes or mentioned during your relationship that he doesn't have
example: if he likes golf get him golf rackets
