It depends on the wine and its ABV.

On a purely alcoholic calorie count, if a 750ml bottle of white wine is 12%ABV, then:

1ml of alcohol = 0.8 gram
1 gram of alcohol = 7 calories

Therefore, 750ml bottle of wine at 12%ABV would have 90ml of alcohol,

= 90 x 0.8 = 72 grams
= 72 x 7 = 504 calories.

Of course, there are other sugars present in wine and this depends on the grape variety. So it is safe to say that a 750ml bottle of 12%ABV wine would have more than 504 calories.

If you're worried about the calories in a bottle of wine, think about this: there are about 202 calories in a pack of Wotsits. What would you enjoy more, a bottle of wine or 2 packs of Wotsits?

It depends on the sugar content. It is usually at least one calorie per ml so 750mls will be at least 750 calories. Sweet wine will have more calories that dry. Alcohol content also affects calory count.
