You should eat the same thing everyone else should eat. Food in its natural state, i.e., not refined or processed. Vegetables and fruit prepared without sauces, etc. Easier said then done, especially in this day and age where everything is made to be convenient..... That said, the earlier answer to see a nutritionist is sound and good advice. Also, move!! You don't have to have a complicated exercise routine. Just walk - start out with what you can do and work up to more. There are no miracles when it comes to weight loss and healthy living and it takes time - one minute, one step at a time. Best of luck to you.

Honestly, there is not just one simple answer for this. The best advice I have ever gotten is to enjoy what you are eating. Everything in moderation. Don't give up on your favorite foods, because if you try, it will just come back and bite you. Cravings are a natural part of living. Just remember to fulfill it and forget it. Healthy foods can be good to eat, too. I happen to love fruit. It is delicious with yogurt for breakfast or dessert. Cut back on junk food. Set a plan for when you will have things like chips, cookies, etc, and allow yourself to have these things only about three times a week at a controlled setting with small portions.
Instead of having three big meals a day, eat five or six small meals throughout the day, and do not eat anything after 6:30. Small steps like these make a big difference. You may not see the results immediately, but they will make you get in habit of living a healthier life. One step at a time. And when you think you have the food habits down pat, then try adding exercise into your program. Even if it is just walking up and down the street after dinner, or parking in the rear of the parking lot and walking farther to the grocery store, etc. Get out and play sports. Play fetch with your dog or pass a football with your friends, etc.
Anyways, good luck!

We were told to skip eating out as much as possiable.
Eat out of a small plate it make you think your getting more food. Skip all soft drinks. Even the diet ones they have lots of salt and will cause you to retain water.
When you sit down at the table to eat,*eat at the table only** eat what you want but the serving size should be golf ball size. Eat what is on your plate and wait 20 minutes. If your still hungry then eat a small helping. It takes 20 mintues for your stomach to tell your brain that your full.
It so hard to take off I know from experiance, but you can do it.

This is an easy one!! Don't eat any potatoes, or bread, no starch foods, no sugar, cereal, corn, pasta, rice, baked beans, no carbohydrates, of any kind, no milk, cream, or dairy products, no alcohol, until you reach your desired weight, then in moderation. Eat all the lean meat you want, eat all the eggs , bacon, veggies, fruit, fish, etc, no bananas, or pears, low fat cottage cheese. Drink plenty of water, any sugarless drinks are ok. Use sweetner etc, in coffee..You have to stick to it, you will see some results, in about 10 days, don't get discouraged at first..Pick one day every week, to eat 'anything' that you want ..My best friend, lost 20 lbs. in the first month. A doctor gave this to her, BUT, the main thing, is you have to stick to it. I am going to call her later, and get more details, please check back here tomorrow, and I will get more details, and let you know..I added a few things, that was on her list, this is about it, I wish you good luck, and stick with it!!

First of all you have to find out why you are obese. It could be a medical problem with you thyroid gland or kidneys. If you have that checked out and there is no medical problem elsewhere You should cut out all fat in your food.No salad dressing with olive oil or any other oil.No butter on your bread no cheese or cheese sauce.Any thing that contains more then 3% fat must be avoided. It will not be easy but it can be done with a little concentration and focus on the fat level in all refined foodstuff.Find the book 'the x diet' by Tabitha Hume and follow her instructions closely.

It doesn't matter what you eat - 100 calories are 100 calories whether they come from ice cream or green beans.
Being overweight is caused by taking in more calories than you are using. It's that simple.
If you want to eat a lot you have to move around more.
If you don't want to move you have to eat less.
If I would offer you one suggestion, it's stay away from meat because of the steroids they put in it to fatten the animals up also does the same thing to you and if its white don't eat it.
Good luck.

It's hard to lose weight without support. Don't try to go it alone. If you can afford it, join a program (weight watchers, etc.). It's easy to know the right things to eat, the hard part is having the motivation to actually do it!
Anything NATURAL is good for weight loss. Basically anything that hasn't been processed. lean meat, Fruit, veggies, whole grains, nuts, seeds and lots of water.
Best of luck to you!

fruits and veggies cut back on the fatty meat try ground turkey and turkey dogs. its ok to have some regular meat every once and a while but try to cut back on the fat. you could also start eating lots of salads. or for heathly sweets eat fat free and non fat ice creams and other treats. and the make a smoothy(fruit).
