I know how you feel, I'm from a family of 9 and when I say this I usually get some funny looks.
I do know how lucky I am, cause my sisters are my best friends.
Wasn't always the case as we grew up, we used to argue bout nearly everything. The really good thing was you never had to face any hardships alone, and if anyone picked on you, you had all that back-up.
We could say what we liked about each other, but let anyone else try and put one of us down and there was trouble.
Enjoy your family, they're the best friends you'll ever have.

It wasn't that long ago that big families in America were normal. Just a few generations ago, having 5 - 10 kids was common.
There's definitely nothing weird about it. You are very lucky to have such a big, loving family. If people tease you, just tell them that your parents had too much love for just a few kids, so they had to have a dozen.

Yeah, that is a big family but there are some families that have up to 15 siblings. As long as you all are close, it sounds all good.

Didn't your parents believe in contraception. It is to big for a family in this day and age. But funnily enough that was the norm 50 - 60 years ago.

It's not that big worldwide altho it is unusual in places like the U.S or U.K. In some other countries a family of 13 plus isn't unusual my first husband was one of 16 although not all lived until adulthood

Hell no! That's pretty cool! I wish I had had that many to grow up with and hang with. You've got a great big family girl. All I can see is, more love to go around and come back ya know?

No it isn't. Every family should be able to have as many kids as makes them feel whole. My mom came from a family of 10. My grandma was from 15 (only 2 girls). I think it is amazing! I couldn't do it because 3 keeps me going enough. I think everybody has a right to their have as many kids as they want as long as they can support them.

That's a lot of children to have! But it must be lovely to be part of such a large family. I don't blame you for feeling glad you're very lucky,

It's not too big. People freak out knowing that I'm the oldest of six. It's just culture that's causing people to act bizarre about it. Forget about them.
