When my Sony Cybershot DSC-T7 takes pictures, every picture comes out very blurry. I don't know how to fix it without taking the camera into repair. Anyone have any suggestions?! Please help!!

If every picture is coming out blurry, you probably do need to take it in for repairs. But first check to see if your lens is smudged.

Oh, yes...also...I don't know much about your camera, but can you set the shutter for longer exposures? Is there a chance you had it set for long exposures, forgot and left it there for everyday photography? Check all of your settings, including focus, and clean your lens and try again. If the pics are still blurry, take it in for repair with some sample pictures. Blur comes in many forms.

What is the lighting condition of the object or person you are taking? Depending on the lens and camera, some cameras have a very hard time with low light. Does your unit have an "anti-shake" feature? If it is on, it may cause some issues too (some of these "corrective" features don't work too well on older models). Alternatively, I would suggest that you stop at a local camera shop for inspection.

Was it doing this since the day you bought it? Check and see if your warranty is still in effect - you can get it repaired for free, or just perhaps the shipping costs.

Of course, make sure you are not moving the camera around when you take a picture, which can cause photos to blur.

Assuming that you're not shaking the camera, and that you're taking photos in good light so that the shutter speed is fast enough to freeze motion- it sounds like the camera is not focussing properly.

Sorry for the bad news- but it sounds like it's time to send it back to Sony for repair.

One thing to check, if this model has a macro (close up setting) see if it is on. This would make normal pics blurry.
