Let me tell you that God is not punishing you. You are simply "reaping what you've sown."
Galatians 6:7 says that "Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap."
But, if you do want to change your ways, you must live in harmony with what you purpose to do.
God will help you do this. Just turn to him in prayer and seek to do his will :)
1 Peter 5:6-9a says "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt YOU in due time; 7 while YOU throw all YOUR anxiety upon him, because he cares for YOU. 8 Keep YOUR senses, be watchful. YOUR adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]. 9 But take YOUR stand against him, solid in the faith..."
So keep trying to resist temptations that the Devil is setting before you.
Psalms 86:11 says "Instruct me, O Jehovah, about your way.
I shall walk in your truth.
Unify my heart to fear your name. "
May that be your heartfelt prayer too.
Yes, he will forgive you, because he sent his son in order that ALL of our sins can be forgiven. Read Romans chapter 5 to get a clearer understanding of how broad our sins are forgiven.
I hope that everything works out for you :)

God isn't punishing you, you are doing it to yourself! We all are prone to sin and that is the thing that makes us so human. You are having moral maturity problems, no self respect and little self control. These impulses and behaviors carry over into other areas of your life. The problem you face is being true to yourself, ask God to help you and give you his grace and forgiveness if you need it, also forgive yourself and when you say your sorry, mean it! Look at the things that you feel you are being punished, more likely than not you will see you can make a change with some effort. The things you can not change let them go, God will help you to realize the difference in what you can and can not change!

Yes, and Yes. At least you're beginning to figure it out, that if you keep on sinning, God's going to keep on punishing, and He can punish A LOT LONGER than you can sin, so, catch on to that and try harder not to sin. I know, and I've been exactly where you are. And it took me a long time to realize that forgiveness doesn't preclude punishment. And, believe me, God's been punishing me severely for around 20 or 21 years now. I still don't like the punishment when I focus on it, but when I realize that forgiveness doesn't eliminate punishment, and that God doesn't punish or correct those He doesn't love, then I can feel totally free of any of the pain of the punishment. It's just our whimpy human selves that keeps on looking back at the punishment and whining about how unjust the world and God is and how much we're being overly punished and how life's unfair that we feel the pain more. Just keep on going in your line of thought. Yes, God has already forgiven you. And, yes, God is still punishing you. And, yes, He can keep on punishing you A WHOLE LOT LONGER than you can sin, so, if I knew those odds, I'd quit sinning as quick as I can. But then, seeing as I keep on sinning in my own ways, I can't leave you thinking you're out there alone. Misery loves company, so, here I am, Misery. God Loves you. Keep on believing. God Bless you.

this is all God's doing — if, of direction, you have self assurance in an omniscient, interfering writer with a grand plan and a particular interest in our little Earth. Out right here on the fringe of the 4 hundred-billion-famous person Milky way — in basic terms one among an expected a hundred-billion-plus galaxies in our 14-billion-year-previous universe — a God's particular undertaking for the guy can look preposterous. however the assumption of God keeps to be crucial to many people in seek of meaning of their lives. regardless of a fractious historic past, technology and theology now have a nearer alignment: some particularly respected physicists and cosmologists, have proposed recently that the universe is fastidiously lawful, to the degree that it form of feels objective-geared up to offer existence. the universe isn't the plaything of a capricious deity, yet "a coherent, rational, stylish and harmonious expression of a deep and functional meaning". whilst completely distinctive to "clever layout" is looking precisely the comparable questions as theology: why are we right here and why is the universe how this is? The "thought of each thing" that scientists are working in the direction of to describe the regulations of the universe is largely a sort of God thought — and much larger than the infantile photograph of a punishing previous guy with a flowing white beard firing lightning bolts from "His" arms. devil, too, keeps to be a going undertaking as God's counterpoint — yet in particular in being co-opted with the aid of worldwide leaders to symbolize the fewer-than-human Enemy.

God does not punish His people, rather he will let you and your sin take you where it will. remember, God loves you and to Him, ,stealing a cookie from the jar is the same as having random sex...SIN is SIN! However, the consequences are different. Your mom would have smaked your hand as punishment...as for random sex, an STD may be punishment. God does not make and choose punishment, people do!

God doesnt punish you at this point, thats what the day of judjement is for. but the consequenses of your sins will be apparaent just like if you contract a disease from your actions it wasnt God it was you. if i keep running running red lights time after time and then get killed after the 20th time is it Gods Fault? No, in the same mode neither are the consequenses of our actions

Why do you blame God for your own weaknesses? You know how to fight temptation? Say "No thank you ma'am I have a bad rash" Forgive yourself before you worry about God's forgiveness.

Have you read about Romans for the Bible? Paul has the same problem. We have another Law in our mind. Perhaps this is called sin.
Pray for forgiveness. You will have to do it every day or you will go back and sin even more!

Yep. Soon he's gonna drop an STD bomb on your womanizing ways.
Of course not, just a run of bad luck. But it's not a good lifestyle to lead...and that has nothing to do with being religious. Just be a good person.
