........of the people asking questions here? This could certainly be a good tool for shared knowledge but DAMN-IT!!!! Are we all smoking crack or is this just "lets play stupid because Im bored"?

I think it's a combination of both - some people genuinely don't know the answers to really dumb questions, some are looking for advice or opinions on what they should do, and some are just trying to entertain themselves by acting stupid. :)

I think some of them just don't have any common sense and some of them are just being pests and taking up space. Some of the people answering the questions are just trying to get points and maybe have a contest going on to see how many points they can get in their group of friends. I would only answer a question if I think I have a solution or know where to send the person to find the solution. Also some people are using their answer to make a political statement and not just answering the question. If I wanted someone to belittle my government I would go to a site that loves to do that. You hit the nail right on the head. I think most of the loonies in here are bored to death with their pitifull little lives. Some are either on crack, coke, aqua-velva, or ethyl alcohol.

But every once in a while you will find a genuine question and / or comment.

I don't think they're playing stupid, I just think that they aren't educated. Not their fault, it's the fault of the education system.. LOOK AT THE SHAPE THE SCHOOLS ARE IN, AND ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY, AND FOR WHAT????????
