Hi! I used to work for a gastroenterologist. I've never personally had the procedure done, but my mom has. The patients there, as well as my mom, said that it's not bad at all! I never heard of any bad complaints. No pain, just a little uncomfortable, as you already can imagine i'm sure. Mom's throat was a little sore post-endo, but other than that, everything went great and smooth! Don't worry, just relax. You'll be just fine!

I had one about 3 weeks ago and they are not uncomfortable at all. I had a bit of a sore throat for a few hours and eating anything with spice in it caused a bit of nausea that only lasted a few hours. With in the first hour I had a fried chicken sandwich onion rings and a blizzard so other than spicy foods there was no problem at all.

Good Luck!

the numbing stuff in your throat is the worst part of it. Just breathe through your nose and you;ll do fine.

My throat was sore afterwards.
