You don't need to find a specific religion to practice. Just believe what you want to believe and if it makes you happy- excellent.

Lissa gives a good answer. It is so true. Oepn your heart to Jesus and he will overwhelm you with his love. It is not easy following him. I will be honest. It can be very difficult, but it is worth it because the joy is deeper than anything else can give. Just keep your heart open to him, and you will be close to God and joy will be with you.
I have been overwhelmed by his love on so many times. I have been really having a difficult time recently, making decisions and it has been so hard. I been ovewhelmed by his love once again the past few days. It is mindblowing. I was listening to this song today by Beth Redman., about the awesome, incomprehensible love of God.

Love is the best religion for you!!! Its free, noone can tell you do this and do that, and you can feel happy and able to do great things to help others.
If your intent in doing something is with love, then you will achieve much.
Love is the Way, naturally, personally and universally
Jesus is Love, and that Love is waiting in your heart and calling you, saying "I am here and I love you and want to help you!"
If you look at this like this, its different than 'regular' religion because its through feeling and learning that we find our understanding and as my Nana always said and still does " Jesus Understands" Take it to Him in your loving thoughts of prayer,and very soon something will change to make things better. It can take time, but the help is always there
Also to be noted that God isnt religion, GOD IS LOVE, Jesus is from God and He is Love, and The Holy Spirit which can be discovered in everyone is Love.
So you see, the best so called religion is LOVE!!!

well, there's this one religion that's God said He came to give you life and life more abundantly. that said that He would never NEVER leaver or forsake your. never fail you. if you just believe in Him. it's also a religion where there is can still be some trouble (but you are promised the victory over it) because of spiritual warfare, but i belong to this religion and i'm telling you, it might be hard rebuking satan, but when he's gone, I get to really see that Jesus knows whats best for me and wants whats best for me. He wants me to have fun and enjoy life!
Christianity is a relationship with the most faithful and loving being ever. the Bible says that He holds ever tear you've ever cried in a bottle. He has seen your pains and He wants to be in your heart to clean it up, and fix it's brokenness, he wants to care for you and hold your right hand saying "Fear not, I will help you." Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and Love and Christianity as your religion.

Find yourself and your faith will find you
research as many belief systems as you can, the mainstream ones and the ones that are a little different, and find one which speaks to your heart and respects and recognises the same things as you do, there is no right or wrong choice for religion (or the lack of it) is a deeply personal choice.
try not to get bogged down in dogma and rhetoric but look to the overall message that a particular religion is trying to give you.

Follow the universal-house philosophy:
This planet is my house. I do not own it, I share it. I do not care about others beliefs. I just follow 3 simple rules:
1.- Respect everyone on the planet, for they are your brothers, sisters and neighbors.
2.- Do not abuse of other living things, for they are an important part of this house too.
3.- Do not take from the house's reserves more than you need.
And that's it. Be happy!

I'm going to be honest with I believe people get to caught up in religious groups. Get your bible open it and read it. Pray whole heartily and talk to God. The reason I say this is because I've tried every group almost known to man. And it was always like we're going to heaven and the rest of the world isn't. or you can eat this but you can not eat that or well you know what I mean I just pray and try my very best to treat people right. I read my bible every chance I get and I try to follow every word in it. God examines your heart and you can go to church but if your soul or heart isn't with him if you don't believe and obey his word it's all in vain

Buddhism. because it all about respect love and compassion not judging anyone. also buddhism respects all religions. it also a religion that makes you happy about yourself. End of the day it will be up to you. I was c of e now im buddhist. Good luck with your journey.
