Hey Hampots,
Here are some ideas:
1. Think about some things that made you happy, while focusing on some sort of object (a picture, a key, something). Each time you think back to the happy time, look at the object. After a while you will become happy when you look at the object.
2. Smile, yes, force it. Do something with the forced smile on your face. Make a sandwich, take a walk, etc. It does something to you - you will feel better!

You can go to a psychologist or find someone to talk to if you don't want to pay for a pro. Sometimes just having someone to talk to can help. People who go to therapy have better recovery rates than medication alone.
Get out in the sun. Some depression can be helped by more exposure to sunlight.
Exercise. It produces endorphins which can make you happier.

Join a gym and work out. Working out releases endorphins which will make you feel happier. I love going to the gym--I am very sad lately and need to find my way back.

Exercise..it helps...because you release endorphins which raise your mood level. I regularly exercise and feel much better after. Also, try to go out with your friends...maybe talk to a close friend or therapist about your worries. I understand what you mean though. I am trying to figure it completely out myself...

Put yourself on a schedule, excersize every morning and eat healthier, get a job if you don't have one, then before you know it you'll be feeling a whole lot better.
