Burritos, rocks, bellybuttons, monkeys, bananas, and Pascal's Wager. Are all things to behold.

That's what someone told me anyway.

Some one told you the meaning of life is what you explained above, and you wondered if it were true? So what do you think? Is that the meaning of life? I can't understand how people can take every thing they hear to be true and believe it and let it lead their life to misery and despair. I will tell what is the meaning of life, you better think of it and try to question it before you accept it.

Life is Love, beauty, mercy, victory, splendor, power, Joy, Understanding, Wisdom and solid and firm foundation. Life is also much much more and will be revealed to us in due time.

Well, in the 60's it used to be sex, drugs and rock and roll, but then I grew up. True, it wasn't till the mid 80's, but it's never too late for Anyone to grow up.

What I like about Pascal's Wager is:
The Wager can be stated by the following explanation provided by Pascal in the Pensées--

God is, or He is not.

Now if you are listening, believe or don't believe. You, as we, have that right.

God Bless
Peace and Love

Yes. Burritos for they goodness they conceal within their outer skin. Rocks for their stability, bellybuttons for the connection they provided to our mothers, monkeys for their ability to hand from trees without tiring, bananas for their wonderful yellow color potassium and dry yet juicy flavour, and Pascal's Wager for its absurdity.

Those other goodies are fine, but you can pass on Pascal. His "gambit" is an empty philosophical proposition. I'm glad he kept his day job.

I did have a philo prof who said:
"You approach wisdom as you realize life has no meaning beyond itself. Wisdom will come as you undeerstand that it CANNOT have any meaning beyond itself."
