This makes no sense to me. Just because Liberals want to make sure that church and state remain separated doesn't mean that they're all atheists.

Is it so wrong to have a government that is religiously impartial? After all, this country isn't completely Christian - not by any means!

Good question! I feel that a lot of the Conservative Christians try to force Christianity down everyone's throats (I'm not saying all Conservative Christians do that, just some). I think that is very, very wrong. God instructed Christians to spread their beliefs, but never to force it on people. Ultimately, God wants that to be your decision. Besides, this country was founded on the basis of religious freedom, and it seems that some Conservative Chrisitans want to take that away by integrating church and state. I happen to be a Christian and a Liberal.....I want my religion and my country back!!!!!!!

i'm a conservative christian, and i don't think that liberals are godless. i just don't agree with them. i REALLY don't agree with them. i know that God would not want children to be aborted, and since most liberals either don't realize this, don't care. it's not the separated church state thing. it's the killing babies thing that does it for me, but like i said i don't think that you're godless. Just not lined up with the Word of God in at least this place.

Because many many Christians [and other religious people] use to be very very intolerant.

For a reference, there's a quote on the Bible that goes kinda: "If you are not with me, then you're against me". That's a common point of view among them.

Sad but true.

Hope it Helps.

LIberals want to prove they can run government and this planet without God. Man has failed in every standpoint to be effective in this area.
Libreals don't want to admit they need God, that He needs to stay in the four walls of the church.
If God is all-knowing and all wisdom, why not ask Him?

Alas to say, that won't be possible in their views.

Second, do some deep studying on the forefathers of this nation. You shouldnote that many of them were Christians. They knew the importance of Biblical governemnt standards and the need of the bible for guidance.

It isn't that liberals are without God. It's only that the liberalism acts as a wall between you and your relationship with God. For instance. Allowing a policy or doctrine that has no biblical backbone to cause someone to be drawn in any fashion away from God and not to Him.

who does? all of them? you know them all and everyone of them told you that is how they feel?

try not to stereotype when you are accusing people of stereotyping.

i am a conservative christian, and i do not believe someone is Godless until they say so. it is in the bible to obey the laws of the land, and separation is one of them. if i felt someone was Godless, i would try to share the love of Christ with them in any way i could. i would not judge and stereotype everyone in their political party or school of thought.

get to know some conservative Christians before you judge, if you must. and if your are going to judge all, you must know all.

Because of brainless, agenda-driven mouthpieces like Ann Coulter.
