License fees are collected by the government and therefore standard all over LA City. Dog license fees are probably reduced if the dog is "fix' or neutered. Before you can have a dog licensed, you need to get them rabies shoots. The costs of these shots vary depending on where you take your dog. Call the City Animal Control Department and ask them where you can get a good price on the shoots.

license fees are set by the state - they all charge the same amount. Don't get caught with out them, as you think the fees are bad - wait until you see the fines
