The homicide rates in the US are higher than that of secular European countires. How do you explain this?, and why do secular countires have a higher standard of living than religious ones?

So when I ask a question it has to be backed up by facts, but when someone asks a questions about Christianity, saying "God did it" is good enough!?

lizardmama where do you get your facts saying the US has the highest standard of living? If you would check the UN Human Development Index Norway, Iceland, Australia, Luxembourg, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, and Belgium each have a higher rating than the United States

Hmmm. Last I checked, the US had the highest standard of living and of individual consumption of goods and services in the western world, and the personal standard of living per capita is second only to oil rich countries such as UAE. Also, while the majority of Americans express a belief in God, many are not "religious." And it is absurd to call the United States a "religious country." We are a secular country that is tolerant of the individual's right to worship in private or in a church. Just look at the rate of anti-Christian judicial decisions handed down from the courts in the last 15 years. If you can support your question with some facts, it would be easier to discuss.

Two questions!
Answer to Q#1 = In countries you would call religious (the USA is religious?) the police pick up the creeps and the crime is recorded.....hence the higher rate. (recorded)
Answer to Q#2 = Secular Countries ( like the USA) have a higher standard of living because the people do not have to pay for Mosques or Temples. The cost of supporting the CLERGY is non existant in a secular Countries.
ONE PROBLEM WHITH YOUR PROPOSITION! THE USA IS NOT A RELIGIOUS COUNTRY............. there is a seperation of church and state.

There might be Christian here in america but this country is FAR from being a Christian Country. If it were you wouldn't be asking this question. Also not everyone who cries "Lord, Lord" is of the father.
But looking at your question again... Yeah we are a multi-RELIGIOUS country. That's why this place is crazy and in war with it's ownself within it's own streets. Too many false Doctrines and False Gods. There is only One Father God, One Holyspirit, and One Savior Jesus Christ. All manifested in One.
But hey what can we expect here in the last days. The bible says it is the last days and this things would happen and that
"Hell enlargeth herself daily".... So what can you expect..

This is a matter of correlation, not causation. The differences between the more secular European nations and the U.S are far more complex than simply religion. Now if you had two nations that were economically, socially, politically, and in maters of population and bordering nations equal with the only difference being religion, you might have a point.

Are you suggesting there's a correlation between christian international locations and crime expenses? What approximately those international locations that don't record crime by using concern or the instability of the governments. distinctive international locations have distinctive definitions for the crimes. i do no longer prefer to start something yet do no longer females lack multiple rights in some islamic international locations, in comparison to declare the U. S.?

Your question assumes a whole plethora of falsehoods. For example, you assume the US is not a secular country, but it is. Another example is that you assume the only difference between the US & Europe is religion.
Logic would dictate that because your premises are faulty, your conclusion is also suspect.

notice you said religious. people go crazy over false religions. christianity is the only true religion and in fact it is not actually a religion but the laws and government of God. If you are insinuating that christians do alot of murder in stuff your wrong because thats just corrupt christians or catholics who try to confuse people by mooching off of christians and saying they are the same when they are not.

Why are you picking on Christians?
Just because you deem a country "religious" does not automatically make it Christian.
Why don't you research something and back it up with data before making generalizations and looking like a jerk?
P.S. THAT WEBSITE DOESN'T HAVE ANY STATISTICS. TRY AGAIN.

You forgot to add in your sources after you asked the question? Delete the question and try again.
I didn't say you didn't have to ask for facts, but your blatant disregard of the facts and incorrect statements are so hideous, they must be asked for some backing.
Btw, your link says and proves nothing, but nice rant about nothing.

Why does anyone else have to provide sources or prove their facts, when the asker of the question can not do the same?
