Same Q, different category thing...
At the beginning of 7th grade I weighed 76 lbs. At the end (I don't remember the beginning) of 8th grade I weighed 90 lbs. Beginning of 9th: 94 lbs. And at the beginning of 10th 105...that's literally like 10 lbs every year! Now, going into junior year--middle of summer vacation right now--I weigh 111. What do you think? I'll be 115 by school's beginning? This is weird! I already weigh more than my sister who's two years older than me. Is this normal and will I eventually balance out, like when I hit "adulthood" or whatever, and sit at a certain weight? Thanks if anyone knows anything about this, I appreciate the answers!

I know everyone grows~ I just think mine is strange because it's kind of been constant. That's what I was wondering about--"leveling out." Thanks again

Wow that is totally normal. To be 76 is really skinny, so 111 is incredibly healthy. When I was a sophomore, I was between 110 and 120 all year and everyone called me a twig, I've always been skinny, but gained weight with each year. I think it's healthy that way. Be comfortable at 110-it could be a lot worse. Just keep exercising and eating right. And ifyour sister is 2 years older than you and weighs less than 111 that doesn't sound right to me.
Yeah, It'll probably balance itself out by adulthood.

U don't mention UR build, so I'm kinda guessing UR an average 4 UR age.
U may B plain & simply growing. U may not grow at the same rate as UR sister.
Adulthood just brings new battles 2 maintain a suitable weight 4 UR Height/Age.
I've attached a web address so U can make a start on a healthy future.

In 7th grade I weighed 85, 8th grade 107, 9th grade 120, 10th grade 125, But alond with gaining weight I have also grown 7 inches, so maybe your weighing more simply because you are growing taller.

I dealt with the same thing. I gained a lot of weight in middle school but the weight gain stopped. I actually weigh 20 lbs less now than i did in middle school.

Of course it's normal...you still growing. I'm 29 years old , only 5'0" tall, and weigh 125. A woman of my size is supposed to weigh any where from 105-135 depending on frame. So really, unless your around 4'8", your probalby smaller than most gals. I'm guilty as anyone, but if you make an effort to not focus on yourself and more on others you experience tremedous freedom to love yourself at any size.

Yes, it's normal. This age is usually the time that kids start gaining weight as puberty sets in. Now is the time though to start being vigilant about what you're eating and start exercising more....to insure that you don't gain too much weight. If you eat healthy and exercise, then you're not likely to become a blimp so start doing that and you'll be fine.

Stop worrying about your weight, if you continue to think about it, you will keep gaining and eventually be overweight but if you just keep active and eat healthy you will never be too fat.

You're young, have fun and stop worrying. As for your weight, it's all relative to your age and height and 111 pounds is definately not fat for anyone in ninth grade so live, love and be happy.

By the time you are 18-20 you should be leveling out. Don't forget to exercise, and eat right, or yes even at 18-20 you will continue to grow.

You are still growing so of course you are still gaining weight. You will probably slow down very soon, before you turn 18. Just eat healthy and get your exercise. You will do fine. I don't know how tall you are but your weight sounds pretty good unless you are under 4'6" or over 5'6".
