I would like to personally thank all of the wonderful, courageous troops that are fighting for not only our freedom, but the freedom of countries that do not have any idea of what the word {freedom} actually means. We, as American civilians, sit in the safe and comfortable confines of our homes in a free country, some complaining that the war is costing too much money, soldiers are dying, our government doesn't know what it is doing, etc. It is very disturbing and heart-breaking that at the same time, they are benefiting from the sacrifies and hardships that our soldiers have made and are facing to give us our rights and freedoms. Instead of complaing about the war, we need to be thankful, showing our gratitude and respect toward the many men and women who are continuing to serve and to die for our rights and the freedoms that we take so much for granted each and every day. I thank you. May God be with you all. God bless the USA

Thank You Thank You! From a Marine Corps wife and her Marine. We appreciate people like you who are grateful. I am so tired of hearing the people who can not bring themselves to support our troops.

It's funny how I will read a negative comment about he military on here that just makes me so angry, but then shortly after, I come across a commit like the one you posted, and I realize there are people like you out there that are grateful and thankful for our Armed Service members, and it makes all those mean commits people leave seem a lot less important.
I think a lot of Military spouses like myself, not to mention all the other loved ones of military members, tend to take it even more to hear with the hateful stuff people say. Because not only are these people insulting our country, but they are also putting down our husbands, daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, etc...
I know it may sound a bit sappy, but there will be times I'll see my husband in his uniform, and actually choke back tears. I'm so proud of him and the choice he made to enter the military. He once told me it had been his dream since he was a little boy to join, and when he graduated from high-school twenty years ago. that is just what he did. And he has never regraded it. I've been his wife for nine years, and I just grow more proud of him with each passing day. I don't like it when he has to leave us for a while, but at the same-time, I'm overwhelmed with pride.
There is no negative comment that anyone could say that would change my mind about our Service members. They are the greatest in the world, and they deserve our total respect.

You men in Iraq are fighting a no win war. It will end up like Vietnam. You are dying for nothing.

Thank God for Americans like you. I feel like your message has brightened my day knowing someone else out there cares and feels the same as I do.

Count me in with all my gratitude to our Armed Forces.
I sleep feeling safe due to their sacrifices away from their families. God bless our troops & keep them safe.
