My belief is that all holy books are fictions written by some wise guys to keep the general population of the society from behaving badly. Things have not been the same since. don't you think that now is the time to rewrite the bible and all so that they can guide us thorough in today's world.

One could argue that the Bible has already been rewritten at least twice in modern times. The first example would be the King James Bible. The second would be the New World Bible (which is believed to be more "accessible" to teens and pre-teens).

Any new translation or edition of the Bible will include some changes which can be applicable to today like the NW Bible. But think about it, even if the Bible is fiction, its only flaw is that people choose to believe it literally. Like the Koran or the Torah, the Bible does include some commands and beliefs that have instilled a type of morality to society (albeit it has failed miserably in terms of the Crusades, Inquisition, KKK, etc.). So even if it is fiction, at least some people are a little better for its existence.

My opinion: forget the Bible and Koran and just become Buddhist. At least they haven't killed anyone in the name of their beliefs....yet.

God's Word will never change:

Isaiah 40:8
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

By the way, I read the Bible and it helps guide me through today's world

The thing is they all already can. But those who claim to follow the teachings of Jesus, Mohammed, Moses and so on only listen long enough to hear they are different from the world but not how they can stay that way. They then cause violence in the name of whichever God and his prophet that they follow without actually listening to the teachings of peace that all of those religions want them to follow.
