My family has really helped me. I have said thank you time and time again but I would like to do something to express how thankful I really am.

I am in the same boat as you. I got married alittle over a year ago and now my husband and i have a daughter that is six months old. I also have a six year old from a previous relationship. If it wasn't for my mom and my in laws we would have nothing. they have helped get us on our feet. I like to send them what I call just because cards. They serve as alittle reminder that I love them and without them we would be lost. It is a great way to show love and appreciation for those who have a hard time expressing it.

Nothing says thank you like a well thought out hand written note expressing how much you appreciate what they did.

Have a special dinner either you cook or you treat too, have a nice card for each person individually and then toast them with a short speech thanking them for everything.

Invite them to dinner..or buy them tickets to a movie or restaraunt they like......Send them out of the house then clean it real well for them.....Give them passes to someplace they wouldnt normally go on their own...maybe the zoo...or museum......a night at a motel....or couples massages......flowers......uummm......there are alot of things you can do.......make a scrapbook with some of your favorite memories..or pay for them to get portraits done....actually it can be in-expensive....my husband and I just had them done at walmart....they were great.....hope some of these helped...oh..one more....a surprise party...set it up and invite people who know how sppecial they are......most everyone loves a go to a surprise party.

do something in return as they have help you like help them get something they want do something around there place like just clean there yard plant some flowers just do something back for them to show your thanks
