Ok, not a Christian, and Elizabeth you need a new hobby. Basically, if everyone is considered God's "children" then he is allowing his children to do these things. Yeah yeah, about the free will, but what about the smiting you hear about, "God will strike you down" and all that crap they tell you in sunday school? If that was true the "children" that are doing these things would get fried, go to hell, and then nothing bad would happen again cause God would scare them so bad no one else would do anything wrong.
Yes, I know I piss off the religious people, but all of you would do good to take a World Religion college class so that you can see there is more to life than just your religion.

Dontcha just love how they continuously justify their crimes in the name of "God"? I've read the Bible several times, then compared versions. The Bible does too definitely encourage all sorts of things that turn our stomachs and that we consider crimes. But modern day Biblicists try to rationalize their conflicting beliefs by twisting it around to blame the asker. Par for the course. One cannot prove the Bible by quoting the Bible.

Where did the army of Israel rape and enslave? They were to kill ever one of the inhabitants. I don't want to hear how bad that is God knows the reason and for me because He commanded that that be done there had to be something seriously wrong with the inhabitants. Some disease or impurity that God wanted to eliminate from the land. YOU WEREN'T THERE. So don't tell me God was wrong..

Sin and satan is who does that. Why are you blaming God for it?
When ever somthing bad happens, people blame God. They are always giving God a bad wrap when they themselves put themselves in harms way some how. Even mothers today place themselves and their innocent children in harms way.
If you are a born again Christian. nothing can touch or have your soul. Innocent children's souls belong to God. But it is sin and satan that can hurt us phsyically on this earth. A relationship with God will help people avoid certain situations.

If you dont' have a relationship with God, you have only yourself to blame. as far as children, they automatically go to heaven, should they be killled. It's my opinion that all children today are much better off with God anyway..
Parents have an obligation to protect their children any way they can. They know of todays' dangers. Don't blame God for what sin and satan are doing to people today.

God gave us our free will, with that comes responsibilities, many people take advantage of this freedom and do stupid savagee things like rape and enslaving women. Just look at us now, theres wars going on everywhere. There fighting for oil, money and all sorts of man made reasons, its just sad
