Things that cannot be bought...freedom,sight, able mind, intelligence, the physical ability and will power to get up and go every day, the love of my husband and family....I definitely value these things more than anything money could buy.

I'll assume that when you say "things we cannot buy" you mean things that are illegal to buy. In this case, both are equally important, but perhaps those things we cannot buy are more important.

By being unable to legally purchase something that is of value or desire to us, it could be said that we are not as free (at least in America) as we like to think. For instance, marijuana. Why is it illegal? Because it is harmful to us? Perhaps. But is it not our right as citizens to decide what is harmful to ourselves and what is not? If I choose to smoke pot in my living room, will someone across the street drop dead? Beyond that, it is possible to argue that alcohol is altogether more dangerous than marijuana. And so why the illegality of it?

This the same for gay marriage or perhaps prostitution. While it is undesirable to some, others can argue that it goes against our rights of free-will to decide how our lives are lived as long as it does not infringe on the basic rights of others (those rights being the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness). Government should not judge morality because "morals" are different for everybody. Any act that a person can do which does not go against those three rights of others, should perhaps be allowed. [Note: This would not include murder, rape, theft, or manslaughter (since this do infringe on others' rights to life, liberty, happiness). ]

I value things that I earn enough to buy and is useful and last a long time.

But if you meant something that is priceless, with sentimental value, which I would value more than anything that I could or could not buy.
