ewww yeh i know what you mean! they're really gross and i bet nearly EVERYONE picks them out of the burgar before eating them! it cant be a very good profit...coz all the gerkins are being wasted! think of all those starving children! :(

on the other hand...my strange cousin likes them...he is strange though...

the best thing to do is ask for the burger without them. This way they won't gross you out and you'll have a burger that was made specially for you and hasn't been sitting under warmer lights for hours.

You can ask for a burger without gherkins,i used to hate them but dont mind them now somehow.

MacDonald's are disgusting fullstop, gherkins or no gherkins. No wonder people that eat them look so unhealthy.

Because Americans love them They remind them of the insides of their nose and the fun they had in childhood consuming the contents. They are awful and I always throw mine on the window of some or other car.

When you order your burger tell them you do not want the Gherkin/Pickle on. They should oblige. If not go to KFC.

cos it originateed in the states, over there they put dill pickles in them but cos we dont have dills here, the closest thing is a gherkin which is a lot grosser than a gherkin.

Good question had wondered that myself, i wondered if it was to help break the fat down? i see alot of the americans say ask for no dills, fat chance of that in the uk, we'd probably have to pay extra to get it took out!!!

I don't know, but I HATE pickles on my burgers, or on any other sandwich, for that matter. It's just NASTY. Totally with you there.
