ahh, the younger sister syndrome.
They dont always get what they want and get their way, but it feels like it for a younger sister. When you both get older, she'll tell you how hard it was being an older sister and you will be really surprised!
For right now, just remind yourself that you are different people and that what she gets or doesnt get has nothing to do with you.

that could be said for younger sisters as well. with siblings, it's very hard to judge who gets everything and who doesn't, who gets more attention and who doesn't. i know that i am the oldest of two and i always though, growing up, that my little sister got everything she ever wanted. it got to a point where, if i wanted something i'd have my little sister ask because i thought if i asked, i wouldn't get it. as i grew older, i realized it was all in my head. once you realize that, you'll be a lot happier. stop thinking about how much your older sister gets, and consider how much you get.

I'm a older sister but I don't get my way. My younger sister usually gets her way. I mean every household differs.

I was gonna answer this, but I am the older sister! lol.
Anyway, I don't think it has as much to do with being older or younger as it does with individual personalities. But then again, firstborn children tend to be outgoing b/c ther's no one older than us to take away our shine! Good luck, hopefully, it will get better as you grow older with your sis.

They don't always. Also, they have been through more and have more experience which (should) help them to make better decisions and exercise better judgment. I am saying this as the youngest of six children, and this was always an issue for me growing up. May God bless and keep you.

I thought younger sisters always got what they wanted and always got their way. Because they're younger and deserve more attention in your parents' eyes.

it has something to do with being 1st born that gives parents the sentimental attitude to give in for some reason? Whether its a chemical response to the brain or just pure preference who really knows???
