Irreversible hatred and a perpetual state of violence will result from this war. The creation of Hezbollah was a response to Israeli occupation and aggression in the region. Israel will be victorious in reducing the military infrastructure of Hezbollah, and much of Lebanon, to ashes. Assuming the US can bankroll a peace (yet another country we will have to rebuild), Israel may enjoy a short lived peace dividend for their actions. Unfortunately, Israel's indiscriminate destruction of Lebanon will simply pave the way for a more virile Hezbollah to rise out of the ashes. The cycle of violence will continue.

The Lebanese government, using its own army, will kick out Hezbollah. They know where they are. 2,000 Hezbollah began this incursion into Israel, and it has disrupted, lives, homes, businesses and tourism all over Lebanon.
Hezbollah is destroying the economy of the people who gave them shelter. I don't think that most Lebanese want Hezbollah anymore than they want Israel in their country.

A lot of people will die. There will be a cease fire. The USA will likely negotiate this. Israel will loose politically, even if they win the military campaign. The war will be forgotten in six months.

Death. Destruction. Refugees. Dispair. Weariness. A truce. A treaty. Rebuilding. Some hope. Nationalism. Rearmament. Jealousy. Fear. Anger. Finger pointing. A shot- & a cycle that repeats itself over, and over... and over, ...again........-Until God finally steps in and puts an end to it, once & for ALL........

I think it might create more violence. Violence cannot solve violence, as seen in Israel's attempts to control the Gaza strip using violence.
