When choosing an uncommon name, I think you should compliment that name with a more common name (not one of the top 10- you don't want it that common). You never know what kind of personality your child will have and sometimes a really unusual name can make children self conscious. If they have a more "normal" name to fall back on, it can boost their self esteem. If your child does have issues with their name when they are small, maybe they will grow to love their uniqueness as they age. I have a 15 year old son named Skyler- he had some issues around his name when he was about 10. He decided he didn't like it. Now that he is older, he is growing into his name and ACTUALLY LIKES IT NOW. There are no other Sky's in his class (even at the school) and he is embracing his uniqueness.
I love the name Rayne by the way. As far as a suggestion goes, pick something YOU love- chances are, your child will too. I am assuming this child is on their way into the world. I will suggest that you have another name picked out for the opposite sex because I know from experience that even with today's technology, the specialist can be wrong when they tell you the sex of your child.

Let me start by saying I love the name "Rayne". It's simply beautiful. I don't know if this is for a boy or girl so I'll give both suggestions.
Girl: Rayne Alise...Rayne Lizabeth...
Boy: Rayne Michael...Rayne Anthony...

It might work easier if you use that for the middle name. I had to do that with my sons name. I liked Logan but couldn't come up with a middle so I used it for the middle and Andrew as the first. I like Sierra Rayne.

I think a multi-syllable, traditional middle name goes best with a one-syllable unique first name. For a girl, "Rayne Elizabeth"; for a boy, "Rayne Alexander."
