A 26 year old guy is only after sex from a 16 year old girl. Unless that is all you want, stop talking to him. He's 26, probably has a little money, probably has some game compared to 16 year old boys. Eventually he'll talk you into something. If you're ok with that, do whatever. It's illegal for him to have sex with you. If someone finds out and reports it, it'll be in the newspaper. Is it really worth it? Talk / date someone in your own age range. They are only after sex too, but at least you are both the same maturity level then and can figure it out together.

Yes...I know you believe it is only talking but he will want something in return after a while. I was 15 talking to a guy that was 24 and after a while he kept trying to get me to come to his house or to meet him somewhere. I finally found out why. He wanted Sex. I am glad I realized it when I did. I know young guys are jerks but stick with no one older than 18. That is until you are of legal age. I am now 28 and married and have heard of young girls having what they thought was a friend relationship with older guys. The guys took advantage of them and then never called again. My niece was 12 when she was so called talking to a 21 year old guy. They wound up having sex and she got pregnant and herpes from him as well. Just be careful. (she had the baby and he is not around at all)

Take care

Ummm hello yes...."talking" what are you talking about and what will that lead too? Don't be naive, be realistic, there is no reason a 26 year old should be talking to a 16 year old, that is called a sexual predator honey! I think you know in your heart that it is wrong or you wouldnt ASK if it is wrong, it is 100% WRONG!

Yes. When I was 16 a 26 yr old guy was interested in me. I thought to myself back then, What in the hell is wrong with this guy if he wants to date a 16 yr old. Its weird and you should be more concerned about his state of mind.

No offence, but I can't see what a 26 would have to say to a 16 year old. What can you be talking about? He's for sure trying to get into your pants.

Ummm, as long as talking is the only thing, but if a 26 year old man had been talking to me when I was 16 and my father found out.... I pity the fool if he would have got his hands on him...

I think it depends on the maturity level. If you're more mature than your age I guess it's cool, if he has the maturity level of a 16 year old then don't **** with him and if you still act 16 and he acts 26 it's just all bad

I don't see anything wrong with it, but you must be careful. If you are 16 and you actually start to have a relationship with this person, if anything were to happen he might go to jail. Just be careful.

well a little bit because not only are you not legal but a 26 year old guy has a lot of experience already and he might expect things from you that you might not be ready for.
