I've used Yahoo! Answers! I've walked someone through getting rid of a virus that virtually shut down their computer (they confirmed it worked with a big thank you, hopefully 10 points to follow later), I've saved a couple of people from being scammed by researching their question and telling them where to verify what I've told them, learning from other peoples mistakes and I've done laundry while my wife is at work.
Imagine what I could do if I left the house today?

I lay around on the couch all day today feeling sorry for myself instead of calling people up and letting them know what a disappointment they have become.

I taught a co-worker something new to her which will make her more valuable to our company and hopefully earn her more money in the near future.

I said "dang, you shouldn't wear white capris, those legs's's are too big!".
Seriously, I did. And my friend was ever so grateful, I even saw tears of thanksgiving in her eyes.
