Not everyone can go to a private school. Why? There simply are not enough of them out there. If the government pays for some kids to go to private schools then the public schools have less funding and get worse and worse, so the majority of the children in schools get a half assed crappy education.
If you want to go to a private school either:
A) Fork over the cash
B) Get a scholarship.
Public schools get public funding, private schools get private funding. That is the way it should be.

I'd rather have the government pay me to choose which school I want my child in. There's no way I'd send my kid to some school the government runs. There's too much crap, secrecy, and just plain stupidity sometimes that the government is involved in, and is the producer of. No way do I want my child taught that, or be involved with that.
I'm not saying all government is bad; but there are things that really happen (like we see in movies) that no one is supposed to know about.

#2 I would want my child to be happy going to school he or she likes. Not everyone goes to a private school. I don't.
