I only dated this girl for a few weeks but a month after we stopped seeing each other I still can't stop thinking about her. I was the one that broke it off even though I didn't want to because it felt like she wasn't as into me as I was into her. I don't ever try to call her or email her or have any type of contact with her, but something as simple as driving past where she works makes me sick to my stomach and my hands start to shake. I don't know what to do, this feels like a teenage broken heart and I am 31!

Listen, it happens. It'll be the same answer from everyone: Get out. Go to the bar, go to the library, go to where the ladies go. It doesn't seem like rocket science, but it works. As soon as you find another lady to think about, you'll be set. If yourshy, try some personals, or chat rooms, start talking to some women, and if your worth your salt, they'll start giving your confidence back, then you can go out in public feeling confident, instead of a bruised, broken man.

try to distract your mind. Heart Broken could be at the age of 20 same as the age of 50 or even more, it doesn't have any age.

Take time for yourself. Go out, watch movies, go to the gym., try to get a new hobby.

Just try to move on and forget about her, you can do it, if you really want it.

Good look,

There is no way to actually get over a broken heart. Bitter but true. Talk to someone who will understand you. You did the right thing. And a broken heart can happen at any age.

call her ask her for to have a cup of coffee with you at starbucks and ask her how she feels about you. if she says she misses you and she has strong feelings of wanting to be with you, then tell her what you did, and apologize for letting your insecurities disturb the relationship and ask for a second chance. if she's over you, then you must move on, because there's no point in trying to force somebody to be with you if they dont feel the same way. If you do move on, join www.Match.com, and at the very least it will save as a good way to get your mind off her, you may even find your soul mate, or a few great friends.

go to her tell her why you stopped the relationship ans ask her if she is willing to try it again.
Apparently there was something there and maybe it was just you and you were the one not ready to realize your feelings!

hmm, when a girl left me after 10 months. First I spent hours listening to heavy metal and playing super violent video games. Then I went out rabbit hunting with a friend. We had a 20 guage, I blew one in half lmao. Uh after that, thats when I finially relaxed and started sorting things out. Yes, Im a freak.

"Casual sex," is clearly not the answer. You seem as though you get attached to women quick, there is nothing wrong with that. Don't hold yourself back from dating other women, remember to take it slow, let them get to know you better.Try changing your driving route, delete whatever pictures you may have of her, throw out the things she gave you, the regular broken heart cure. After all, out of sight out of mind.

Are you realizing maybe that wasn't a good reason to break up with her.... especially if you just assumed that's how she felt and not talked to her.

You either need to get a hold of her, talk. OR you need to just let her go and move on. No more thinking "what if".

But do SOMETHING -

Maybe hang out with her as friends or if that wont work spend lots of time with you boys. That should keep your mind off of her and you never know who you might meet in the next hour..It could be your future wife..
