had something similar on my knee and it turned out to be a staph infection which required surgery and 7 days in hospital, 6 weeks off work. get to a doctor.

I had freind thathad something like that here is the deal see a doctor, I know it hurts you will need a cream to get the swelling down.
It might be a one time thing or it could be a life time thing check with your doctor.

I honestly have a similar aspect. i imagine think about tonsillitis it truly is a bacterial an infection. think about strep throat aswell. the white "secretions" are puss on your tonsills (its disgusting)
