The thing is that some of us might be... or closer.
If I knew for sure I would visit a friend or two for a good long time and then just spend time with family and lots of time in prayer. I've known God to change his mind when people have been told they are terminal. It's all up to him ultimately.

Quit my job for starters, rally all my friends and family around for a going away party give everyone a envelope on their arrival which they can only open on my death or they lose out on the surprise the letter beholds.
Take loved ones on a never ending holiday as money thank god isn't a problem; making sure I have a high life policy that will pay out on my death to family, have a recording of all events of that year with added comments of what will follow after I am gone.
And lastly say thank you to my wife who has been there every day of my life since we met 29 years ago, and assuring her of love and happiness she will find once I am buried and forgotten.
PS: As for those letters I sent out to all, they would be my personal treasures from my garage and tool sheds as I'm a collectomanic of old and new tools for everything man has ever made since 1899 to now.

I would quit my corporate job, simplify my life, spend more time with my loved ones, paint, draw, make jewelry, travel, sleep late if I wanted, do good deeds and not spend my life working to pay the bills.
In short, I would do exactly what I've been doing for the last fifteen years.
I figured this out when my father almost died in a construction accident and my mother almost died of a brain tumor. Those things taught me life was too short to stay in a crazy corporate rat race.

my mum's friend has been given a year to live - she approx 8 months into that deadline - at first the depression was terrible, but now she has resigned herself to the fact that everything comes to an end.
She is spending a lot of time with her family and grandsons and travels to places in the UK that she has always wanted to see, when her illness allows her.
I don't know if I would be that strong. Me I would probably wallow in my own self pity. Hopefully my mother's friend would be an inspiration to me.
There is some testimony in the saying 'live today like it was your last' and 'always say goodbye to your partner and tell them that you love them, even if you are only going to the corner shop'.

If you really want sincere and profound answers, from people who would give you their time to reflect on such an issue, such people might feel more inclined to do so if they knew that this was happening to you. If on the other hand it is just a general philosophical question; what one could do, then they might wish to save their time and just let people with too much time or nothing else to do answer the question.

i would fulfill all the goals I ever had and do as much good for the world as possible. I would also look at the world much differently and try to take things for granted. Personally, I'd learn to ski, go parasailing, meet famous people, go to countries all over the world and do everything I was ever scared to do before my time runs out

Hi, really i dont like to think about stuff like this, as i have just recently lost a family memeber and they only had a week to live, and it was hard enough to think about it then if someone told you, you only had a certain time to live, it hits you like a brick and there is nothing you can do. So its a stupid question to ask, if you have never really been around someone who has a certain time to live. You dont know what you would do as it hasnt happend to you.

It amazes me that when this question has been asked before, people say 'i would live everyday to the full and try everything i could, spend the time with my friends and family, go swimming with dolphins, bungee jump off the eiffel tower, do a parachute jump ' why dont these people live their lives to the full anyway?!?!

1st- Make sure I do not owe anyone anything.
2nd- sleep little, see a lot while enjoying every minute of life.
3rd- tell all my family and friends how much I care for them and how much I love them.
4th- travel to a foreign place (a war place) to help the needy. If I will be dying anyway it would be best doing my best.
5h - never never feel sorry for myself
