I think its because not to many are searching for the truth.There is only one god one truth but yet everyone thinks there right,is it because thats the way we were raised and feel like we would betray are family i think so.Do people search for religon that fits there lifstyle,i think so.there is a scripture that says to all man kind from god: those who want to find me will find me, why do you think he says that?

Because man is vain, and petty, and would rather say they are right, than state the truth, which is that they just don't know for sure. Look at elections, as an example. Many will wait before voting, to see which side is "winning" before voting themselves, casting their vote for whoever already is in the lead, not wanting to side with the loosing team, thereby proving their pettiness. No one wants to be on the loosing side. I believe all paths lead to God, not just Christianity, yet many who would be willing to help out a fellow Christian would walk past one of another faith who needed help, and in some cases, let that other die as a result. Would Jesus do this, or Mohamed, or Buddha, or any other great religious leader? Many Christians go on about helping out their fellow Christians, when what Jesus (A Jew, BTW) said to love thy fellow man, not just fellow Christians. Too much emphasis has been placed on labels, being a good "Christian", or "Muslim", or "Jew" . Why cant you just be a good human being instead? There is nothing wrong with that, HONEST!!! Try it sometimes. Put your differences aside, and try to just be a good person, regardless, or despite your religious beliefs. You just might find happiness without the labels. Does God wear a label?

If you search for the truth based on evidences it has only one direction. Blind faith is cheap and will lead to hell. I totally agree with you as God created our brains and made us accountable on this basis. If we don't do our homework with open mind we will be losers. Let’s respect our own mental capacities and give it the lead.

When you believe that the Bible is God's life manual for people, you know that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. There is no other way to the Father's house than Jesus Christ. When you get the Son, you will get everything. We cannot compromise, not we want to.

people alter their lifestyles to suit their religion, not the other way around. people say their religion is right bcuz otherwise, everyhing they have believed up until now would either have been a lie or false. that's why ignorance is bliss.
