There is no such thing as a 'faith healer'. They are simply con-artists.

I would like to argue with one of your answers. ALL faith healers are not frauds. I am a faith healer. I am no fraud. I have a beautiful stack of thank yous to back that up. I also work free of charge, not that charging is bad, it's just that I choose not to so no-one can I am in it for the money.
To tell if a faith healer is a fraud is really quite easy. First look for the "Hollywood" production. The hoopla etc. Second, no one, I don't care who it is can cause a crippled person to throw down their crutches and walk in a matter of moments. ALL healings take a certain amount of time. Examples: cancer takes about 5 1/2 months, flu about 3 days, MS the same as cancer. Like I said, I have testimonials to back me up.
You asked about Mr. Steven Sanders. I won't comment on him but rather show you how to answer your own question. Hope I was of help.
Vaya con DIOS

If the healers actually had the gift of healing, then why would they not use all the time. Like going to a childrens hospital and helping these little ones.
THEY ARE ALL FRAUDS!

Faith healers are frauds, they have people that travel with them in most cases, so beware of what you believe, remember in the Bible remember what Jesus said in John 4:48 Except ye see signs and wonders ye will not believe. Here is an eye opener too 2Thessalonians 2:9-12. Then the verse, can't remember where but it goes something like this. Lord Lord, haven't we prophesied in your name and done miracles in your name? And Christ said depart from me you workers of iniquity for I never knew you...
The signs and wonders preformed in the Bible were to prove that Christ was who he said he was and that he was the son of God. So that is also something to think about. There's a good set of tapes out that would be equal to takeing a seminary course if you are really interested you can check it out, it will answer alot of the questions that you have.....Charismatic Chaos by John Mac Arthur you can order by calling this number 1-800-55-Grace.
They were a big help to us on this topic.

I don't know who Steven Sanders is but look at his life.
Is he driving a fancy expensive car and live in a lavish mansion with money sent to him by " believers ? "
Or is he humble and giving all the credit and glory to God?
Remember, there are people who can still be healed not because of the man but because of their faith in God.
There will always be genuine men of God who have a gift of healing and then there are the others...those who have a "gift" without repentence and huge rings and wear loud, fancy clothes, and have a wife that looks worse than a Hollywood starlet.
Weigh the spirits and then you'll know.

Never heard of him but not likely a fraud. I am atheist and don't believe in faith, but for someone who does, he can cure. Some things are brought on psychosematically and some things can be overcome mentally. If he can convince someone of this faith healing it can happen. Mind over matter.

They are all frauds... because you saw someone appear to be healed at one event doesn't mean he "pulled it off."
The only difference between a faith healer and a magician is the magician doesn't try to convince you that what he is doing is real. It's all deception.

He may or may not be a fraud. Our minds are very powerful and there is so much we still don't know about the human mind. Possibly, he has a charisma that convinces people and the brain does the rest.

Any "Faith healer" is a fraud. It is all illusions and actors. People believe what they want to believe, especially if someone they love is sick.
