I'm an atheist. If I want to learn about the evolution of the Platypus ( something I know nothing about ) I check what those who study that subject have to say, and tentatively accept it as true without demanding any other proof.
Religious people do the same. They consult books on the subject of God, or ask priests. We are no different in HOW we came to believe as we do , just in WHAT we believe.
We cannot morally force others to our viewpoint. I'll come in here and ask questions about things I want to more about from those who have studied. Let's stop using Yahoo as a soapbox to undermine one another.

I am a firm believer in God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Religion is a choice. It should never, in any way, be pushed on another. AND if any person comes in here to answer your question and degrades you in any manner, who are they to judge you?????

Generally, I believe, that it's the AGE of the respondent that usually determines their attitude during the response. Of course there are many exceptions, but the younger the responder, the more insults are needed to express what they're thinking. Reptile brain ya know.

I just like to mess with the stupid questions because I'm bored. I know I'm not going to get anyone that says gay people are going to hell to suddenly be filled with acceptance and love for everyone. Just like the people that say if you don't believe in Jesus you're going to hell aren't going to change my mind. Legitimate questions get legitimate responses, but other than that it's just so much fun to mess with stupid people.
