Do I need to go to the courthouse where I had court, or can I go to the one here in town?

Head up there and turn yourself in. You can't make it go away with a phone call. You have to appear in court to fix it and just and FYI...you won't get bail for this. They will hold you until you are assigned a court date. Since you refused to show up for the first one, they won't trust you to show up for the 2nd.

Today's lesson:

Do not miss a court date.

Go to the court and turn yourself in. Be responsible for your actions. You will either be held or have a good sized bond. Now that you have a failure to appear (FTA) they will want to assure that you don't miss it the next time.
