I'm not talking about those places that are supposed to be free, but then you find out you have to pay $$ to join their club. I'm talking about the one that's totally free.

I wish people would quit suggesting www.freecreditreport.com

This site requires you to join a membership and pay for your reports. Sure, you could sign up, then cancel once you have your report. But why do you want to play these games when the government already has a site set up??

I got one from http://www.freecreditreport.com - all you have to do is cancel within 30-days so you don't get charged.

I canceled mine 5 days later and made sure I had a cancellation email, along with a confirmation number well before the 30 days.
