Speaking as someone who is an atheist and who has an IQ of 138 I agree completely.
After all when raising my children I never once mentioned god, jesus or any other magic sky-pixie. Neither of them has had any interest in such nonsense. In fact my son was curious so instead of giving him the biased explanation that I knew I would, I took him to a luteran pastor I know. He gave him an explanation (he's 6) and afterwards my son turned to me and said "dad that sounded really silly, was he just kidding?" I admit that I had to laugh for quite some time after he said that.
Imagine a 6 year old understanding what a grown man couldn't!
Brilliant kid.

First of all, the people of the USA are overwhelmingly Christian -- but the government is officially secular, and it's the government that declares war and stuff like that.
Second, the most violent and aggressive governments in modern world history have been Communist ones. Communist governments are officially atheist, and expect society to be atheist too.
So, your "Christian equals arrogant and violent" thesis is bogus.
As for your "stat" about college students -- first of all, where's your citation or evidence?
And second, is it not possible that students drift away from religion while they're in college but then return to it a few years later when they're all "grown up"? I've seen that happen many times with many people.
If college kids are "losing their religion" while in college, but then returning to it years later, that's indicative of the fact that college professors these days are so whacked-out leftist and secular that it isn't funny.

I prefer not to believe every atheist who comes along with phony statistics. I prefer people with heart to people with a big void where their heart ought to be. I prefer it if you don't label children as dumb and violent or smart and godless, as if there were only those labels- the ones you made up- to choose from. I prefer the young people that I know- the smart ones who believe in God, and serve His purposes, not their own, and not the ones manufactured by phonies like you.

Got proof? I'm particularly interested in the assertion that atheists have an average intelligence of 25 IQ points above their Christian counterparts.
I, personally, think you're full of biased ****.

Credibility.
Reference your numbers.
Who did the study on the intelligence or lack of?
The statistical fact you say is kinda skewed.
Did you know every major invention had a Christian background to it?Look it up.
Atheists claim a lot but typing it down is far from credible.

Only smart kids worship God, because it takes a smart person to realize that education does not save, that salvation is a gift of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. IQ has nothing to do with anything.

Have you been to a college recently? College kids "convert" to atheist beliefs so they can justify their destructive behavior. Promiscuity, spreading STDs, drug and alcohol abuse, rape, etc. I don't see Christian students behaving this way. I don't see Christian students with STDs, or premature/ out of wedlock pregnancies, or complications from abortion. I don't see Christian students involved in fist fights, hazing, or gang activity either. Who's dumb and violent again?

whatever. if you are an atheist just so you can feel superior, then your motives are misguided. My kids are lovely, intelligent people. We do not belong or go to a church. Why is it that they ask me to pray with them every night before they go to sleep? Children are naturally spiritual, I'm not going to try to convince them they should be some other way.

You're so full of it, typical liberal lies, there are no statistics such as you claim. I assume you are a Republican as 'statistically' they are better educated! Always remember this: There are three types of lies, lies, damn lies, and statistics. You are so ignorant that after you posted this question you actually thought all Christians were going to become a pagan just like yourself. I'm going to stick a pin in my voo-doo doll that will have your name on it.

The more religous the country, the more ignorant and violent, just look at the middle east.
Religion is a mental disorder.
