You should try posting things on the internet. I am sure that there are places that will help you with this problem. There are some sites that you type on who you are looking for and it will give you a list of the people in that area with that name. I hope that you end up finding him. I know this has to be very hard for you to deal with. Keep searching every day and you will eventually find him. I wish you good luck in your efforts to try and find him.
Keep looking good luck!

If he filed a missing persons report at that time, then you are in the system somewhere, and police will be able to find that info. You could start with the Florida state police or the local police dept of where you lived in '86.

if you know the city or county I am sure there was a report made and maybe contact that location....I am very sorry that happened, maybe there was a good reason. my husband was taken when he was 6months old, his mom later told him of the abuse, she feared for there lives. anyway, he is 34 and was found this past may and after talking to an aunt....the abuse was very bad and she was glad they got away and happy he was finally found. as for the abuser, we still have not had contact w/ him, my husband is bitter towards his dad for the violence. but keep your chin up and good luck!!!
