Of course both men and women go to the same heaven. Why wouldn't they? The Father loves women and men equally. Jesus died for ALL sinners.

I don't know about animals going to heaven, but I personally believe that there will be some there. The bible says that the lion and lamb will lay down beside one another and a small child will play by a vipers nest. (without any fear of being harmed.

This is hard to explain. There is no SEX male or female in heaven, however if you are male you will appear male. If you are female you will appear female. Husband and Wife will recognize each other but they are separate individuals.
Like wise father and son they recognize each other as to there past earthly life but are separate individuals created by the hand of God, being brothers in the creation.

All will be perfected in heaven. Males and females remain as they are, but perfected, and the same happens to animals, one hundred percent of which will be in heaven.

There are Male and Female in HEAVEN.
They are in their Intermediate Body's (no procreation), untill this thing is over with, then their Old Body's will be RECREATED(Glorified), and they will go back into them, and then we will REPOPULATE the EARTH and the PLANET's, like we were supposed to do befor Adam blew-it. Hope this helps.

When we are in heaven, we will have glorified bodies. We will all have jobs. There will be work in heaven! Our bodies will be as Jesus' body appeared after he rose from the grave and appeared to the disciples.

The Gospels give testimony that Jesus did indeed return to life on Easter Sunday, but to a life that was much different. It is the same Jesus, but now he appears suddenly inside the upper chamber, "the doors being shut" (Jn 20:19). We do not really know what the qualities of the resurrected body are, but from the Gospel accounts it does seem that Jesus' body possesses power over material things in a way that is beyond our experience and knowledge.

We know that two bodies cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Still, the glorified Jesus passes through walls like light through a window. He is able to converse and associate with disciples who knew him well, such as Mary Magdalene and the two men on the way to Emmaus, but he does not allow them to recognize him. This means he can let them see him but they can recognize him only if he so wills. Again, this shows that Jesus has power over his body that vastly exceeds anything we are familiar with, except perhaps in the creative imagination of science fiction.

One conclusion that follows from the Gospel accounts of the appearances of Jesus is that matter has capabilities that modern man, whether scientist or not, knows nothing about.

In order to confirm the faith of his disciples in his Resurrection, Jesus had to convince them that it was really he. All four Gospels mention the Resurrection, and each gives some details regarding the appearances (cf. Mk 28; Mk 16; Lk 24; Jn 20-21). First of all, they recognized him in his physical appearance — his body was the same body, though transformed, that they had known during the preceding three years. Thomas doubted, so the Lord said to him: "Put your finger here and see my hands; and put out your hand and place it in my side; do not be faithless, but believing" (Jn 20:27). To all the assembled disciples, he said: "See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see that I have" (Lk 24:39).

Jesus also showed that he was the same Person by his mannerisms — the way he spoke, his tone of voice, that way he ate and drank and broke bread. By these and other signs he proved to them that it was really he and that he was now enjoying a completely new and different kind of life.

It is difficult for man to believe in the resurrection of his body, and there are many today, including some Christians, who do not believe it. Death is all around us and there is a terribly finality about it. Jesus had foretold his Resurrection, but his followers had not grasped it. Thomas would not believe it even after the other ten Apostles had seen the risen Lord. He demanded special proofs. Because of this innate difficulty for man to believe in the Resurrection, Jesus went to great lengths to establish the reality of his Resurrection for his Apostles. He showed them some aspects of his glory, but not all of it. For if he had shown the fullness of his glory, it would have been too overpowering for them and they would have been tempted to think that it as not the same Jesus they had walked with on the dusty paths of Judea and Galilee.

Thus, by his many appearances and his gentle ways, Jesus aroused and confirmed the faith of his Apostles in his Resurrection. They knew it was the same Lord now living a new, glorified life.

“Let not your heart be troubled: You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

I think we will be our same selves in heaven and reunite with all of our loved ones. If heaven is a "perfect" place my dog will be there.

OK... to explain what happens to our essences as we transcend the planes... refer to the Buddhic plane paragraph below, and read up through the final paragraph. Your "heaven" incidentally is what is actually referred to as the Logoic Plane. We do not actually reach "heaven." Read on:

The Physical Plane of 3 Dimensions. This is the lowest of the seven planes, where we spend our physical lives. The three lower sub planes are: solids, liquids and gasses. The four higher densities are called the etheric planes, at which faeries and nature spirits exist.

The Astral Plane of 4 Dimensions. This is the place of out-of-body and near-death experiences, as well as where, according to some teachings, one waits for reincarnation. This is also where one finds the first Guardian Angels. It is also called the Emotional Plane. The energies on this plane composes feelings, desires and emotions. It is possible to travel through solid matter here, including the astral bodies' ability to pass through each other. The lower sub planes here can be considered the "hell" of the realm, where - as stated above - all the negative thought processes and entities which are created on the physical converge. The higher up we move through the Astral, the brighter and more pure the energies become (like the sludge on the bottom of a lake compared to the pure sunlight glinting off the surface).

The Mental Plane of 5 Dimensions. The energies on this plane compose thought. Once one can successfully astral project, one may be able to mental project. On this level are true altruistic thoughts, free of desire or selfishness. Most angels and other spiritual beings are found here. The lower sub levels of this plane are made up of conscious thought while the higher sub levels are made up of abstract thought. The next higher level in the Mental Plane is what we think of as our soul.

The Buddhic Plane of 6 Dimensions. Upon reaching this plane, we leave individualized personality. This is the plane of true spiritual insight (not to be confused with psychic feeling, which is an astral manifestation). An accessible echo of the Akashic Records are found here, and have their origination on the Atmic Plane.

The Atmic Plane of 7 Dimensions. This is the plane of consciousness and of life itself. Here we find the great spiritual masters, as well as anyone who has achieved true conscious enlightenment. The higher dragons of the world have also taken up residence here, to avoid being hunted by those on the astral and lower who seek to eliminate them. Christ also resides on this plane, on the Mind's Idol in the Middle Atmic, with his Bride.

The Monadic Plane. This plane is beyond any type of matter, dimension or evolution as we know it. It is the plane of will where the ultimate divine spiritual spark in all living things express themselves and evolve and create on the lower planes ("as above, so below"). When reaching the Monadic Plane, we leave all sense of space, time and self behind.

The Logoic Plane. This is the divine plane of God, the Source, or the One, where no human has been known to reach. It is free of any limiting concept. A "Logos" can be thought of as a vast deity which has the ability to create spiritual life from itself.

I believe that, according to the Bible, we will still retain gender in Heaven. However, there will be no sex. And, yes, according to the Bible no animals are allowed.
