Yes, I second the above. The math in medschool is extremely simple and is largely very basic statistics. If you're bright enough to get into medschool there's no way you wouldn't be able to handle it.

I also second the rote-learning point. Medschool was far less intellectually challenging than my undergrad science degree.

The math requirement for your undergrad isn't difficult. I took Calculus and Linear Algebra, that's all you need. University math courses include a 1 hour tutorial every week on top of your lecture time, this will help you immensely. If it's not enough almost every if not all universities offer a math tutorial centre where senior students help with whatever course they can, and the best part is its free!

If you are dedicated you will do fine, I hated math in high school but when I entered Pre-Med and was taught by REAL mathematicians it wasn't so hard.

I am an MD. I graduated from MIT in Chemistry, and I knew LOTS of math when I entered Medical school. But there is ZERO math in med school, except for simple arithmetic, and maybe a little algebra when studying enzyme kinetics or pharmacokinetics, so maybe not zero, but very close to zero, unless you take a special elective like biostatistics or quantitative laboratory analysis or something like that, but those are not required courses. However, before you even get accepted into Med school, you must take 2 semesters of Calculus, two semesters of Physics, 2 semesters of Inorganic Chemistry, two semesters of Organic Chemistry, and two semesters of Biology as a minimum in order to meet the entrance requirements. Also, you should be aware that the Medical school admissions people compute 2 gradepoint averages on you: one is your overall gradepoint average and the other is your "BCPM" grade point average, which stands for "Biology-Chemistry-Physics-Math" gradepoint average because they want to see how well you did in those core science and math prerequisites alone and uncluttered by your "A" in band and your "A" in "The Philosophy of Star Trek" and other such cakewalk courses. Actually, Medical school itself has been likened to trying to take a drink from a fire hose, because it is mostly just memorize, memorize, memorize, and then memorize, and then more memorize, etc. etc. I thought it was very tedious and really rather boring compared to MIT.
