Sometimes they will come back after a long "vacation". I hope nothing has happened to her.

OMG My young female cat ran away about 11/2 months ago, I have no idea what happened to her but everyone I asked said she probably found a new home, or...well killed by an animal like a raccoon or a coyote. I am really sorry, and I actually know how u feel, sometimes I still cry when i look at my cats picture. But there have been cases where cats have ran away for years and then came back. But put in word with the shelters. Good Luck

That is tough to say. Did you check your local shelters to make sure she did not end up there? Some people might take a stray cat to a shelter rather than keeping them. My cat ran away for 2 weeks, and he returned home, so there is the chance she might turn up again. Since cats are so independent a cat who runs away may just end up living with other cats in a feral cat colony, especially if she is shy around people to start with. You should also consider the possibility that something bad might have happened to her. I would say your best bet for getting her back is checking the shelters and making up lost flyers to give to your neighbors, kids in the neighborhood are usually pretty good about finding pets, also put some up at local stores. If she does return, I would consider getting her microchipped so if she would ever run away again she will be returned to you if she ends up at a shelter or vet's office. Best of Luck!

They are a few things that could happen to her...
-Sadly, she could have not made it. Is she an outdoor cat? If not, don't get your hopes up.
-She could have been found. Put up some posters and see if someone calls. If no one does after 2-3 weeks, unfortunatly, you must pull them down.
-She could come back. Cats tend to take little "vacations" away from their family. Most of the time they are only a few hours to a few days. There is, of course, still a chance that she might come home. Think positivley, and make sure you have tried your hardest to find her.
Remember, one family found their cat after 7 years ALIVE, so there is always still a chance.
I hope all turns out well.

Chances are she has already found a new home, put up some lost cat ads at your local vets office; a lot of people turn to the local vets; I had a cat run away from me; never came back after about 3 weeks, I searched, I called, nothing, sorry to tell you that; his name was Cosmo; and I think he got pissed at me; because I was gone too much; Cats are very intelligent. sorry for your loss. but she found a new home.
