My point is IF you DID NOT qualified for the EIC ,complain away about the illegals.If you did shut the hell up.You didn't pay any taxes to the federal government.

I didn't qualify and thank you for your permission to complain.
However, those who should be getting benefits and no longer can because of the competition from illegals do, too, have a right to complain, in my opinion. They are the reason I pay these taxes.

You don't qualify for EIC if you've arranged someone else to either be the primary caretaker or other arrangement for you children or by court order or statute.

Last year we didn't b/c my husband and I filed together.We made too much money.But I have gotten it before.You are talking earned income credit,right?I received it one year b/c I didn't make that much the previous year.
Oh,sorry Pancha,for this.But: For all ya'll anti-illegals.My husband is ILLEGAL with NO visa,but a social security card that INS gave him.We do our taxes with his number too.So,are ya'll gonna tell me thats not possible either?Just like tax id#s,huh?Bite me.

P.S. It doesn't matter if a citizen dose not make enough money to pay taxes, that is what the law is for to help our citizens not illegal immigrants, they are not in titled to the help our government gives our poor citizens.
