depends on the engine

V6 = 87 (regular)
V8 Magnum = 87 (regular)
V8 HEMI = 89 (Plus, recommended but runs good on 87 if not towing)
V10 = 89 (Plus)
SRT-10 = 91 (Supreme)
V6 or V8 Diesel = Diesel (older ones Diesel1, newer ones Diesel 1 or 2)

PS: "leaded" gas does not exist in the US since around the early 90's
all fuels are unleaded

Try
regular unleaded this should work fine
BUT
If you get alot of spark knock go to unleaded plus and try that
if this doesn't work well than use supreme

Why waste money on high octain fuel if not needed
If you have good spark and timing than the regular unleaded will do the trick

NOTE:
Not all gas stations are created equal
depending on where you buy your fuel
at one station your truck might work great with regular
at another station(Brand)your truck might not work so good.
Find a good brand and try to stick to it,this will also increase the life of your engine with good fuel.

Can you even get leaded gas anymore? I thought it was all unleaded. I have a 1999 Ram.I use unleaded, but they say plus or super is best in any vehicle. I'd use reg. unleaded and put in a tank ofthe good stuff once a month.

just use regular. if you want excellent performance instead of just good, use plus.
