does it ever make you mad to see the elderly people working in hecktic places like fast food joints just to survive?...i think that our older people should be able to spend their golden years casting lures or digging in their flowers....not asking if you need fries with that....its so sad...any one else agree with me on this?

Yes it makes me furious! the elderly have already served their time. Why make them work? We are supposed to be the richest country so I think we can send a few checks to these poor people. I agree but what can we do about it?........ Keep thinking.

Hi again Daisy:
I agree, it is sad that the majority of our old folk, can't afford to sit down, put their feet up, and enjoy the golden years of their retirement, due to financial restraints/difficulties.
While I know there are many out there who ‘Love’ to work, and enjoy the social aspect of being employed, and still feeling useful in society: there are even more who would just love to be able to relax, live out their years in peace: and enjoy without worry, what time left they have with family & friends.
I’m afraid it is the same most of the world over: the ‘System’ that supports the care, welfare, etc of our elderly (and not just the elderly) in many areas is sadly lacking… It would be great, if in a perfect world… the governments could stop buying the things that kill and destroy our race, and spend the money instead on preserving it!!
TWO world wars and more ‘Conflicts’ than we care to count: and we still have not learnt the value of ‘LIFE’!!

I think if the elderly didn't want to work in fast food, there are plenty of jobs out there they could take to "survive". And maybe some of them just like to keep busy.

It depends. Alot of elderly people work because they don't know what else to do with their time. Then theres the group that relied soley on social security and never saved up any money of their own for retirement.

I think that if more families would help their elderly parents instead of only thinking of themselves, these older folks wouldn't have to ask if you want fries. Too many people are only concerned with themselves and not anybody else until death to see how much they get.

confident, i've got been with hundreds of human beings while they have been loss of life, and by using their deaths. it is definitely extremely uncommon for absolutely everyone start up chatting with human beings from the previous, asking to be taken "residing house". in step with probability on your loved ones, the triumphing perception is that loss of life is like "going residing house", and so in step with probability they'd start to think of alongside those lines while they sense loss of life drawing near. i've got sat with young ones, outdated human beings, and another age team.they have died from outdated age, from maximum cancers, from injuries and ailments. interior the main considerable, they say little or no, and in the event that they do communicate it is in many cases something like " i'm chilly" or " i'm thirsty". human beings do no longer say something very profound - that only occurs interior the flicks. the main hassle-loose way that human beings die, is they extremely actually "circulate to sleep and don't awaken".
