Ok im in the same predictiment so these are the 2 solutions im doing (but i dont get talked about though i got rank)
1. go to freetrainers.com its great! (you have 2 go)
2. Exercise for 30-45 minutes a day. NO MORE! Your body will produce inflammatory chemicals if you exercise for longer periods a day which will cause you to keep more fat in your body, grow in waist size, and lose muscle mass.
NEVER eat fast food! ...At all! Don't! I don't care if it is a "McDonalds Grilled Chicken Salad." It's bad for you. They load sugar (oh yeah, I'm not kidding) and addictive preservatives in foods which cause you to get hungrier and want more. Eat good, nutritious, healthy food... but remember: Always in moderation. People say red meat is bad for you. Well, it might be... but it doesn't hurt to eat a little bit. I'm not saying go and eat 14 lbs. of ground beef hamburgers. Use moderation. But here's a cool hint. Eat oranges and other citrus foods. They speed your metabolism. I honestly didn't know this but it worked. I lost a lot of weight. :-p
Eat often. Every three hours. Can't do it? Try. :-)
Drink about 5-6 glasses of water a day. People say that you should drink 8-8oz. glasses of water a day... that's 2.2 Liters. Well... it's too much water. The body does need this much water to keep it hydrated, but you get a lot of water from everything you eat, too. So if you drink that much water, you end up with too much water in your body and you start to grow... this is known as 'water-weight.'
Try to walk a lot throughout the day, as a part of your exercise. You can start off small, but gradually increase your goals. Power-walking 3 miles a day will do WONDERS for you. :-)

OK everyone will tell you exercise and starve. For me I hate exercise and I love food, yet I stay in shape. After trying all modalities I have realized what really works and fast. ATKINS is great and my diet is based upon that. You can loose 9 to 10 pounds per week. I start out by eating only the following. @ to 3 Brats for breakfast with mustard and a little bit of ketchup (one packet max) Lunch is Tuna fish salad made with Mayo, not Miracle whip. Ill add some feta cheese and hot sauce sometimes. Dinner is a steak, be careful what seasoning you use. You want to keep your carbs less than 20gms for the day. No fruits sweets no regular coke etc. No bread pasta. Look up guidelines on the net. Do drink plenty of water, 8 glasses minimum a day.
Almonds make a great snack on this diet.
Plenty of people tell me this is a bad way of loosing weight, but you know what all of them only talk about their wonderful ways of life style change but never loose weight. For me I go on the diet for two weeks at a time, sometimes only a week. But I stay thin, look good and still enjoy my food and life.
Give it a shot for a week and see for yourself.

It depends on how much belly you have to lose, but try the Core plan by Weight Watchers and if you work in an office, try using an exercise ball instead of a chair to strengthen your core muscles.

drink 6 glasses of water a day, a pound is about 3,500 calories (that's what I heard) so you can lose a pound a week if you cut out about 500 calories so try to stick with a 1,000 calorie diet, you can lose up to 25 pounds if you give up soda for a year so don't drink soda! avoid salty foods, don't skip meals or starve yourself cause that can lead to GAINING weight in the end. give yourself lower porportions of food because oftentimes people eat more than they need to feel full,

3. Drink lots of water.
4. No soda.
5. Minimize your sugar intake.
6. Eat whole grains instead of white flour.

Start exercising regularly (not once a week) eat HEALTHY! I cannot stress that enough. The only way people will lose weight and KEEP IT OFF, is if they maintain a healthy balanced diet, along with plenty of exercise. STOP EATING JUNK FOOD PEOPLE!

I will urge you to get started on the south beach diet by Dr. Agatston. You can either buy his easy to read/easy to understand book, or you can look up this internetsite:

It really is effective on losing weight - especially around waist. Complete your diet with Pilates; gives you a toned body and nice poisture.

first, the people that put you down and make "fat jokes" arent your true friends. second, there is no exercise thatll target your belly. you body decides where to put fat. the best thing you can do is walking and running and watching how much you consume. i hope this helps and that your confidence grows!!

eat better, go do some brisk walking and do things that make you happy. belly fat can increase if you're depressed. go out in the sun and exercise is good for that because exercise creates endorphins, endorphins make you happy. and happy people just don't kill there husbands.
