Clearly people here don't play much chess.
I would want to be a pawn as if they survive their journey they can become what they choose.
The King is the most powerful piece on the chess board, without the King the game is over. That is an old chess riddle.

If anyone says anything about "pawns" ... well, hmm... I guess there's so many of us, but in general, the people say whatever is on their mind, and ask leading questions. So... what sort of chess piece is used in order to lead people into the slot you want? Pawns are defensive, used to restrict access...

Well, we can always be ironic and say we're all bishops XD

Would God be the White Queen (Light side's most powerful piece) or the White King but can't do squat?

Whichever one He is, I'll take the other one. I figure if we are going to be assigning positions to ourselves, then I'll be taking the best I can get.

I'd probably take a knight, because I like horses, and I tend to move in squirrelly directions.

Since we are to be a Priest hood Joint Heirs with Jesus I guess mine would have to be the knight on the right.

Pawns.... they make the moves that they are told too. Take away the more major pieces and they'd be dead in the water.....

I call the black knight on the right side. Just don't cut off my limbs.

I'll take the knight on the right. Quick, evasive, and brave.
