They way they debate the war and invite foriengers into the country its like they are asking for it. Do they take carnal pleasure in the death of their neighbors?

probably because some have stated as much right here in this forum. I have seen liberals say they hope America will get it's *** kicked to teach it a lesson. unfortunately many who live here are so filled with hatred towards those they feel are in power that they would give aid and comfort to our enemies. i just wish they had the courage of their convictions and would move to Iran or Syria and fight us with their "friends" so we could defeat them over there and be rid of them here.

BoredLawyer...There is a big difference between disagreeing with policies, criticizing, voicing your opinion, and openly aligning ones self with enemies in a time of war. It is not hatred for opposing points of view you hear from most conservatives, but disgust at the ignorant distortion of facts presented by the left. Face facts, conservatives are generally of one mind on some topics for a reason. It's called principle. The so called left is full of malcontents of every persuasion. Their one thing in common is their hatred for the common enemy. In this case it happens to be George Bush or anyone who believes his middle east policies are just and sound. To this end you suspend good judgment when choosing your allies, many of whom care nothing about your piddly point of view, but rather would use you to obtain their goal of seeing this country utterly destroyed. You accuse conservatives of wrapping themselves in the American flag yet you come to a public forum like this and join in with muslim extremists, anarchists, and communists and believe you are carrying on the tradition of Patrick Henry. You need a serious reality check. Suspend your prejudices long enough to really examine the issues and have the good sense not to believe every crackpot conspiracy theorist or slogan chanting revolutionary that comes along.

P.S. For those of you attempting to discredit the asker for a spelling error it looks like a typo to me. Have you ever made one? If we are going to start that practice we can always revisit some of the past brilliant liberal posts. Gross spelling errors might indicate a lack of education thereby invalidating a point of view due to ignorance, but typos do not.

So by "debating the war" you think that's wrong??? I'm glad I'm liberal so I can think for myself!!!! And you're second comment, "inviting foreigners into the country"....unless you're Native American, we were all foreigners to this country. And what does all that have to do with hoping to have another 9/11 attack take place where does that fit into your question??? By having an opinion and not being prejudice I wish death on innocent civilians??? Better think through your comments before you make statements like that.

Because you get all your news spoon-fed to you by the likes of Bill O'Sexualdeviant and Rush Limpdick.
The problem with people like you is, you're lazy.
You tune in talk radio (90% of which is conservative) and listen, which of course requires no effort on your part, or you switch on Fox News, which requires the same amount of effort, and of course is nothing but a 24 hour a day Republican 527 ad and let them program your head. Pick up a newspaper every now and then...put a little effort in every once in a while...'yer' brain muscles will only hurt for a little while.

It is probably because you are one of those right-wingers who can't (or won't) see a difference between your party and your country, which means that you can't understand that criticizing our government, its policies, its leaders, and so on is what America is all about. Instead, you probably get confused and think that people who oppose your party or your President also oppose America -- as though the GOP was the USA. Well, we're not a one-party system yet, and you'll have a helluva fight on your hands if you and your like keep trying to impose one. If you want people who don't question their leaders or the things they do, you will probably be comfortable in Iran or North Korea. Here in America, though, we have a very long history of putting up with different opinions and criticism of authority. Even those who actively opposed ratification of the Constitution (like Patrick Henry, of "give me liberty or give me death" fame) never had their patriotism or their right to speak out questioned in the way your party responds to all criticism.

Perhaps the question you should ask is "Why do right-wingers like me get so upset when people have opinions different from my own?" I suspect it is because you know at some level that your positions and policies won't stand up to reasoned criticism, so you try to avoid facing it by trying to discourage people from saying anything you don't already agree with -- at the same time you stroke yourself with pride in being a "real American", hostility to other viewpoints makes you less and less of one.

why is it that 99% of all idiot right wingers parrot the stuff i hear on the rush limbaugh or the sean hannity shows. (yes, i listen.. for amusement purposes from time to time) none of you has the brain power to come up w/ an analysis of your own. so there you are, hating on liberals... all while bashing us for bing haters. hmmm, makes a lot of sense. as for welcoming a 911... lok at who benefited from 911. the republican party and george w bush. & if you look a smidgen harder you can see many on the right wing wanted a 911 event even before it happened.

i'm no longer asserting fox information isn't somewhat biased in the direction of the conservative facets of issues, yet there are exhibits on there that DO have the two facets to the arugment coughhackHannityandColmescoughhack and that's plenty extra effectual than i will say for CNN or MSNBC. as a count of actuality that with the aid of fact Air u . s . a . of america is doing SOOOO GRREEEAATTT (word the sarcasm), liberal will stop at no longer something to get no longer something to get the conservatives off the air.

It seems like the liberals (aka left wingers) act like they want it. At least the majority of the ones "in power" do. They act like they want to debate, but they just regurgitate the same drivel that comes across as hating the troops & adminstration instead of trying to come up with a better idea. Plus when they're called Liberals, they say "no, we're not liberal, we're progressive". like you cn't be both? Be proud of being liberal. Consertives are proud of being consertive.

That's kind of odd, since another 911 attack would only benefit the Republicans as they would then be able to justify all the extreme measures they've taken (ie: torture, spying on US citizens, secret black prisons, Guantonamo, etc).

I think Rove and Cheney would be delighted for us to be hit again.

Liberals have very short memories. For power is all they care about. Thier mind mode is pre 9/11 and those on the far left just don't get it yet either. They've lost elections and still don't get it. All they can do is rant and nothing more.

I agree. I don't see how over 3,000 American citizens can be killed, and some people are already forgetting it. This year will be the 5 year mark, only 5 years. Maybe putting a face to what happened might help? And there are thousands of these...
